Being at the GROW Expo was a great way to grow connections

Thank you to the Greenville Chamber and everyone who helped make the 2010 GROW Expo at the Carolina First Center possible. This was our first year to be a part of the event. We’re glad we were there!

The Chamber did a great job making the event a centerpiece for networking and connecting. Walking into the HUGE expo hall was impressive. Talking to the other exhibitors was encouraging. We were particularly encouraged by the number of people there and their willingness to connect and help.

Greenville is an exciting place to be. Experiencing Greenville at the GROW Expo encouraged us and we’re looking forward to being back again next time.

Well Dressed for Scottish Events

The Highland Games begin today in Upstate South Carolina. Prince Edward is traveling from the United Kingdom to attend what he calls, “The best Scottish games in the world.” If you’re familiar with the games or with Scottish tradition, you know that dress plays a significant role.

In this video Rush demonstrates and explains elements of proper Scottish attire.

When you’re ready to order your kilt, be sure to see Rush in person. You probably already know he’s well known for his skill in custom-fitting traditional suits. You’ll want to tap into that skill to ensure your kilt fits you perfectly. If you’re going to wear a kilt, you want it fit just right.

Time to break out the seersucker?

Recently Robert O’Dell asked a very good question about seersucker suit. He asked, “How early in the year is a seersucker suit appropriate?”

Seersucker is a perfect fabric for summer without a doubt. In the South, it’s already starting to feel like summer. However, you might want to wait until after Easter to break out the cool, fresh-feeling seersucker suit. Right now you probably want to get the last few days worth of wear from your winter blazers and sportcoats. Even though it’s officially spring, you can still wear wool and winter weights/colors for a few more days.

On the other hand, if it’s 75 degrees or warmer on Easter Sunday, go for it. The white bucks are optional.
