TAKEN IN\ A New Film by Chris White
Rush Wilson Limited had the unique opportunity to “dress the part” in TAKIN IN, a handmade feature film about a man who must spend a weekend alone with his estranged teenage daughter at a roadside resort. The wardrobe of the main character was carefully selected at Rush Wilson Limited.
Rush Wilson III helped customize each wardrobe selection to reflect the changes of mood for each scene played by the main character, Simon. "As the story developed and plot grew so did the character’s personas. We were able to assist by having a wardrobe evolve as the main character evolved. It was a lot of fun,” says Wilson.
TAKEN IN was written and directed by personal filmmaker, Chris White. It was made entirely with cash and in-kind contributions. The story (co-written with his wife Emily) was inspired by Chris’ theatre work with students at a therapeutic boarding school in Virginia.
