Posted March 14, 2011On a recent trip to Charleston with my wife Amanda, we were getting dressed for dinner. I planned on wearing a blazer and one of my new custom, spread collar shirts without a tie. As we were ready to leave the hotel room, I put on my blazer and Amanda noticed that the shirt didn’t look as sharp as the button down shirt I wore the night before. Allen Edmonds and Soles4Souls

Between February 21st and March 16th, Rush Wilson Limited is partnering with Allen Edmonds to collect new and gently worn shoes for Soles4Souls.
Soles4Souls was started by Wayne Elsey, a footwear industry executive, in Nashville, TN, in response to the Tsunami in Indonesia in 2005. Wayne, motivated to do something for the people of Indonesia, made some phone calls to other footwear executives for help and they raised 250,000 pairs of new shoes headed for the affected areas.
Then Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast and Wayne called the same people and this time raised 1 million pairs of shoes.
